In The Blue…

Like lost at sea, like the proverbial “feeling blue”, like lonely cold blue water. You know, that lost wandering feeling of not exactly knowing what went wrong. 

Whatever it's meaning, it hit home as I wrote it in my side room studio in Asbury Park, NJ circa 2022. After a few iterations and “final” versions, it is finally for the world to have - 4 years later. 

2026 is a year of letting go of some old songs that I'd hate to see rot away on the hard drive. A good friend and veteran of the industry once told me, “ how selfish of you to not give the world you songs, what about the people who need to hear it?". I haven't thought of music creation the same since. 

This is one of the older songs of 2026's collection and I'm happy it's out in the world in all its sad and desolate glory.
