Control Alt. Delete …
The keyboard shortcut was created in 1980 by IBM engineer David Bradley as a quick way for developers to reboot without a time consuming power cycle. The three-key combination, requiring both hands, prevented accidental triggering. If a reboot was initiated, there's no doubt some software components were corrupted. Unlike a tattoo, any mistakes or glitches could be easily reset and fixed. Decoding line by line was often necessary but just like trying to decode a lie by someone you trusted, sometimes it was easier to hit the three finger salute and quit wasting time.
While moving on from a situation or person you held close isn't as immediate as computer reset, there does come a time when you realize that it's time to get your head and heart in line and go find somebody else to love; find yourself. So adios, so long, c'est la vie, adios, control alt delete to their memory.
